The Adorama Imaging Resource Center (AIRC) has undergone a significant facelift, and has been renamed the Adorama Learning Center (http://www.adorama.com/alc). Consisting of thousands of photography-related articles, how-to tips and product reviews, the Adorama Learning Center is now more user-friendly and interactive. It is a unique online photography resource that just got even better.

New features include the ability for visitors to comment on and rate any article. Easy social network bookmarking tools, RSS feeds for every category, and a new Blog and Podcasts have also been added. The look and feel of familiar features such as “100 in 100,” the Adorama Learning Center’s popular, ongoing photo tip-of-the-day feature, have been improved and the layouts widened in order to accommodate larger illustrations, while navigation has been made more flexible and user-friendly.

Expanded product reviews

In addition to a new look, the Adorama Learning Center is providing more product reviews. This week, for example, reviews are being posted about the Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS lens, the Leica M8 digital rangefinder lens, the Leica 28mm f/2.0 Summicron lens, and Kodak Ektar 100 film in 120 format. While these are pro items, expect reviews of consumer-level DSLRs and other products in the near future.

I was not able to find video reviews about the Leica CM. So I decided to make my own. Please be so kind and don’t be angry about the quality of my video(s). I’am not very experienced to make videos. I made it with my old digicam (Sony T10). It’s not easy to do that with only one free hand. Now I can understand all the other reviewers here Short summary to the Leica CM: It’s a wonderful high quality point & shoot camera made in Germany (Minilux was made in Japan). I was impressed about the picture quality. The Summarit f2.4 40mm is very sharp. Contrast and Bokeh is perfect. And the camera is so quiet! My Ricoh GR1v is smaller and better for the street, but so loud… I bought the CM at eBay in nearly mind condition for 400 Euro.

Voice over training course – the basic skills that you ought to have

Diction is one of the most important tools of the trade. Perfect enunciation is required from the student, hence, it is necessary for him to go to speech classes to master his diction. Every voice over actor has two roles to fulfill – “lending voice” and “acting.” So, perfect diction is not enough to start voice over training – the student must also enroll in an acting course before joining the voice over course.

I wrote a PostScript program to generate encoder wheels. Unlike similar programs, it is very flexible and many things (like scaling text to make it fit) are taken care of automatically. The printouts shown are from the first version of the program, and contain some bugs, which have been fixed.

When can you have a 3d scan i am 13 wks and hospital are not scanning me till 21 wks last scan was 8 wks.

Any time you are willing to shell out the cash, but be careful. Ask your doctor for a recommended site to have that done. Some 3D scanning places are not regulated and therefore the amount of radiation your baby is exposed to is too high. Your doctor should be able to tell you where to go, and may even offer to do it herself, for an extra fee.
